Tri-State LED Retrofits CarpetCycle's New Facility
Tri-State LED, a division of Revolution Lighting Technoliges, today announced it was selected to provide LED technology solutions for the lighting retrofit of CarpetCycle, a provider of specialty interior demolition recycling services, uniquely positioned to reclaim and redistribute key construction waste for reuse in products containing recycled content. The lighting retrofit was completed at CarpetCycle's new Roselle, NJ headquarters to reduce lighting energy use throughout its facility by more than 60%.
The project began with a comprehensive assessment by Tri-State LED to develop the most energy efficient program. This included the replacement of existing antiquated lighting with Revolution Lighting's high performance ECO Thin Flat Panel and ECO Linear High Bay solutions throughout office and warehouse spaces. In addition to achieving greater energy efficiency, the new LED lighting delivers superior light output to ensure safe, high quality working environments for CarpetCycle's employees.
Tri-State continued to work closely with CarpetCycle throughout the entire project, assisting with key project requirments, including the procurement of critical state/utility based energy efficiency incentives. These incentives help preserve critical working capital for CarpetCycle, reducing initial out of pocket expenses for the project, while reducing the overall project payback to only 2.5 years.
"As a company providing sustainable based demolition services, it is critical to minimize our own environmental impact. The retrofit of our new facilities with LED lighting is a significant step, and we could not be happier with the outcome," said Sean Ragiel, President of CarpetCycle. "Tri-State LED was an expert partner throughout the project, managing critical aspects to ensure we selected not only the best product, but managed the entire project incentive process to mitigate out total project costs"
"We are excited to help CarpetCycle meet its sustainability goals, providing LED lighting to significantly reduce operating expenses, while significantly improving the quality of light throughout its new facilities," said Kevin Winters, Regional Manager of Tri-State LED. "Selection by CarpetCycle is a testament to our Company's expertise in working with small businesses to pursue the technologies and incentive programs best suited to maximize their energy savings.
